Kinsman Farm is a not-for profit company formed to establish a Christian Prayer and Retreat Centre in the local area. It was founded by a small group of Christians who have a long term vision for the provision of a place in a rural setting where people can come to pray, meditate, worship and separate from life’s demands in a safe, tranquil environment.

Kinsman Farm began at the end of 2016 when Wendy and Christine, who were in partnership in a counselling practice in Ballina, were sensing at the time, that God was leading them in a new direction. The direction became clear through a dream and specific bible verses, particularly Matthew 11:28-30.

Our immediate goals include the offer of half day retreats at one of our member’s two acre property at Tregeagle. For details refer to the Programme Section.

Ultimately, the long term vision is to purchase a rural property and to establish a Christian Prayer and Retreat Centre there, which would be open and available to anyone, seven days a week. This full vision requires ongoing fundraising and donations.
